ALL ABOUT ME
Welcome
I've been practicing massage therapy for most of my life, and professionally since 2019.
I first began learning from my mom, Dawn, who was also a massage therapist for over 20 years. It was because of receiving loving and therapeutic touch from her that I knew how necessary and powerful massage is and that, I too, wanted
to provide this to people in my community. Because she was ill, I began working with her and clients that trusted in her that I could provide equal service. I received my formal education from Hands on Healing Institute in Tujunga, CA during the same year that we lost our mom to breast cancer. Carrying forward her love and legacy is incredibly important to me. To this day, I continue to care for clients she has seen and known for her career of over two decades.
My training at HHI was transformative and supportive, and provided invaluable knowledge and techniques that I use in my practice. The focus is always on listening to the body, following the lines of tension, moving stagnation, creating ease and opening blockages to find more relaxation and freedom in the body of the receiver. A key lesson taught there is for the therapist to drop the ego and title as "healer", and acknowledge that the client holds the power as Healer for themselves. As the therapist, I am there to simply be present and help facilitate the healing that each individual is doing within.
I have worked for almost 7 years traveling to client homes, and have recently
opened up my own studio space inside of a chiropractic office in Woodland Hills.
A career in caring for others and the Earth is my calling.
I look forward to continuing to serve the community.
